The Black Box is an electrical appliance that puts a positive electrical charge on your downrigger cable. Many boats emit a negative electrical charge which repels fish. With the addition of the Black Box to a downrigger set-up, the negative charge can be nullified and shifted to a positive charge which is much more attractive to fish.
